380 comments in 4 hours- Be More!

This morning I woke up with a burden on my heart and a feeling that God wanted to light my fire with something. Man, was I in for a surprise!

I turned on the song that was spinning in my head all night long..

As I listened to Katy Perry's newest song that was released on the VMA awards last night, "Roar" I began to weep. Watching her story in the movie, "Katy Perry The Movie: Part Of Me" completely ruined me. You know, that good kind of ruining. The kind that helps you to leave old ways behind and step up to WHO you were designed to be.

So I went to my Facebook page after talking to God for about 2 hours.. and poured out my heart.

What is posted below is what I wrote. In 4 hours, 380 comments came pouring in!

Something that makes me sad is when ppl who call themselves believers start judging & correcting & saying all manner of self righteous things toward those who need HOPE! Oh now THAT makes them wanna turn around don't you think?!

Seriously! The self righteous crap I see on Twitter & Facebook from Christians makes me weep & wail in sorrow! God gave authority & people use their tongue to condemn! Why don't we pray to get to the point where God can use us in any situation with anyone & we don't get offended! Do we honestly think telling someone on social media how disgusted we are about them & how disappointed we are in them is going to give them hope in their darkest hour to trust us for help?!!!

Maybe the dark places haven't been lit up yet because too many self righteous religious believers could never go there because they're too darn offended to step foot where sin might be! I'm pouring out my heart here & if you don't like it or it makes you mad please unlike my page & go to someone else's! Jesus died for the sin of the entire world! Use your hope & power to save that which is lost! Quit condemning it!

Quit being so afraid of it! Get to the point where God can use you to have dinner with someone who is in a horrible mess & you aren't offended or on a mission to change anyone!!! Have your mission be ONE THING! Just one! L-O-V-E!! Then maybe you'll be trusted with some very horrific situations & you will be used by the Light Of The World to help rescue some shattered ones in a very very dark place!

Jesus forgive us for all the judging & cursing & self righteousness quoting Bible verses on social media! God, just like any other nation, I repent on behalf of all the sin, self righteousness, rage & hatred that exists on this social media nation & I ask You to GIVE ME THIS NATION so that I can bring Your love & Your hope to a dark place!

God! Use me!
