Do your classes work for ministries and nonprofits? 

During my 18 years in business, it has been my honor to write copy and create some marketing campaigns for some of the largest ministries in the nation. What an incredible pleasure it is to help a non-profit or ministry based organization sell more CDs, books, event tickets and more. 

Ironically, one of the top questions we hear every single day is this, "Do your tools and classes work for ministries?"

Last year we helped The International House Of Prayer in Kansas City increase their attendance to their largest event of the year "One Thing" by 37%. Not only that, but every day that the event was broadcasting live through a streaming telecast, I trained their social media team how to support their live event with the actions they took on their Facebook page. The sales KEPT increasing! People bought tickets and came to the event even while it was taking place! They had historic CD sales, book sales and more! This year we're partnering together again and within the first month they had more revenue coming in for that event than they had last year by month three of their marketing! By the way, Momma Joyce Meyer is speaking at that event this year! It's imperative they have WISE marketing in place!

Just in case you didn't realize this, it takes over 1 MILLION dollars to put on an event like "One Thing". To have more than 75,000 people at an event like other very large events have, it can take up to 5 MILLION dollars. These events are not cheap! They cost A LOT and it takes strategic marketing, wise stewardship and using the tools that exist for this generation to make it happen.

As you can see above, Mark and Kim have a heart for orphans. The biggest thing they lacked was MONEY. The truth is the biggest thing ALL ministries and nonprofits lack is money. Every single month, sadly, people give up on their dream, doubt the call that God gave for one reason more than anything else- they lack the funds to make it happen.

Well, Mark and Kim took my classes, applied the tips I give in Facebook Marketing and the Facebook templates, they listened to every free class they could on building culture and more. In ONE WEEKEND they brought in $6200 for their mission. Listen to that! ONE WEEKEND! No phone solicitation, no mailings, no nothing! JUST using social media.

If you run a nonprofit or a ministry, I'm telling you right now- more people are on Facebook than any other platform on the earth. But you can't keep guessing, hoping and praying things work and pitching your event over and over again. YOU MUST build culture. You must give the customer what they want! Your donors, sponsors, attendees and more WANT something. When you figure that out (and it's NOT to be recognized on your donor list by the way) you'll see revenue pour in, your dreams coming true and lives being changed.
