This is my babydoll Latte'. I call him my "Cinnamon Spiced Latte'" because he has the orange markings on his face. He's a lover! A Ragamuffin cat grows to be over 22 lbs and he is pushing that to the limit. ( I think he might be 23!)
The funniest thing this cat does is at nighttime. I wonder if it's because he's part Lynx. As soon as the lights go out and the house settles he awakes from his catnap ( daylong nap!) and goes flying and zipping through the house, all 23 lbs of him making this very distinct noise! Meoorooooowww!! Apparently there are invisible creatures I've yet to meet that he sees at night time and he's letting them know he's on duty! I've read that Ragamuffins don't come to full maturity until they are 4 years of age. Well he's just turned 1. So we're in for a treat! 🙂
We have another cat named Micky. He is a Himalayan/ Siamese. Micky used to be a stud-cat. When he stopped selling his body for profit I bought him and made him my own. I always say he was the first cat I loved. Not being fond of cats previously Micky won my heart and we've had him for 5 years. He's very talkative. My husband says that is because I never stop talking and he's just copying. I don't know about that! I read that Siamese cats love to chatter and talk. I'm not even Siamese and I make money talking so whose to say it's a bad thing!
In just 6 days we're having another baby!! A pure bred Schnauzer will be mine! He's all black and is 6 weeks old. YUMMY! He'll throw and interesting curve into the mix of furry people in my house…. it's gonna be fun.
Updated 04/27/10- This is Kobe!!! My boys say he'll be black and powerful just like Kobe Bryant! Although this Kobe is only going to get to 14 lbs.. so I think I'll send Kobe Bryant ( who is good friends with my friend Gina Alexander) a picture of his twin! In dog form!
But my teen boys, Justin and Bobby have warned me- I am NOT to name this puppy. As a copywriter, speaker, trainer and talker… well let's just say I don't lack words and coming up with names isn't hard! It's not telling everyone the names I come up with that is a challenge! So I hope they name him soon otherwise I'm gonna call him Cody. Or Buddy. Or Snickers. Or something else…. you get my drift!
