Facebook Mobile App Installs

Facebook's Mobile Platform Will Drive The Company's Future In 2014 More Than EVER Before

Apple is about to release the new iPad.

More than 9 million iPhones sold in first weekend of iPhone 5s release!

Mobile is steering the future of not only internet usages and sales, but social media is completely being driven by the mobile world's activity.

It is my belief that Facebook's mobile platform will drive the company's future in 2014 MORE than it has ever done before in their entire history. And we'll see a HUGE push for more tools on the mobile platform as well.

In 2011 CTO Bret Taylor stated that "MOBILE IS THE PRIMARY FOCUS  FOR OUR PLATFORM." Into 2012 we began to see the company steer to an ENTIRELY app-driven platform. Today, Facebook makes more than 41% of it's revenue on the mobile platform.

Advertisers who use the Facebook platform for company growth, as we do here at A Real Change, should pay close attention to all that is expanding on the network's mobile 'steering' committee:

– New Page Insights now feature better metrics for likes, comments, shares and also engagement rate

-InstaGram, owned by Facebook, rolls out ads on the mobile platform that drives more than 80 MILLION users daily

– Facebook adds Graph Search to iOS app, updates it's Messenger platform which is driven by the mobile app platform

– 43 percent of mobile gamers end up making a purchase while on Facebook

– Ad objective focus becomes a big push for Facebook's Ad manager and makes mobile ads even easier to create with your objective as the primary focus during the creation process

-Facebook helps marketers with suggestions on it's mobile platform in ad manager

-Mobile app action ads grow with a BIG push for the entire company's success

So, what can a marketer learn from this? That you MUST be ready to serve, engage and have relationship with mobile users.

Remember as well that these two BIG MOVES online will completely drive and dominate mobile culture activity:

-The introduction of internet.org so that everyone has access

-The roll out of Google Fiber so that you can do more, anywhere you want, faster

Three tips to make your social media marketing on Facebook to mobile users more effective:

1. Don't forget that mobile users are territorial. Take them outside their app and you are on the 'suspects list'. They can feel the shift, they don't want to leave the app. Don't steer them away from the app, rather, drive them to your highly engaged Facebook page WITHIN the app for more relationship and ultimately, sales.

2. Be sure the photos you're using on your promotion are "Mobile Friendly". That graphic of your amazing product might look great on a laptop or 27 inch monitor in your creative room but it could get quickly ignored on a mobile platform. Be sure you're testing how it VIEWS on a mobile device before you roll out your marketing campaign

3. Facebook's new algorithm is driven to deliver RELEVANT ads. In your targeting be sure it's relevant to who you're wanting to reach. Make sure your page is relevant to your ad. Don't write ads that have nothing to do with your page activity. Don't target groups of people or other pages on Facebook that have nothing to do with your niche.

It is my personal belief that if ANYONE who has a message were to tap into the mobile culture in a big way, they'd see not only company profits increase, they'd have more money to create more jobs AND shift our economy.

Imagine if only 500,000 companies in the USA alone took this to heart. We'd see a FINANCIAL SHIFT and big changes to the economy.
